నిజామాబాదు జిల్లా వరదాయని ఎన్నో ఎల్ల చరిత్ర గల నిజాం సాగర్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ నిండు కుండల పూర్తీ స్తాయి నీటి మట్టం తో నిండు కుండల కనువిందు చేస్తుంది, 2 సంవస్చారాల తరువాత మల్లి ప్రాజెక్ట్ పూర్తీ స్తాయి నీటి మట్టం తో కల కల లాడుతోంది, ప్రాజెక్ట్ నిండటం తో నిజాం సాగర్ ఆయకట్టు రైతులు ఆనందం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.
ఆయకట్టు ప్రజల అవసరాల మేరకు ప్రాజెక్ట్ నుండి నీటి విడుదల కొనసాగుతుంది, ప్రాజెక్ట్ జల విద్యుతుత్పత్తి కేంద్రం టర్బైన్ల ద్వారా 1600 క్యూసెక్కుల నీటిని ప్రధాన కాలువకు విడుదల చేస్తున్నారు.
గడిచిన ఆదివారం 14 గేట్ల ద్వారా నీటిని మంజీరా నదిలోకి వదిలారు, వారం చివరి రోజులైనా శని వారం , ఆది వారం ప్రాజెక్ట్ పర్యాటకులతో కనువిందు చేస్తుంది
ప్రాజెక్ట్ పూర్తీ స్తాయి నీటి మట్టానికి చేరుకోవడం తో గురు వారం అర్దరాత్రి ప్రాజెక్ట్ 4 వ గేటు ను అధికారులు ఎత్తివేసారు, శుక్ర వారం ఉదయం 6 గంటల వరకు గేటు ను ఎత్తి 4 వేల క్యూసెక్కుల నీటిని దిగువ కాలువకు వదిలారు. ప్రస్తుత్రం నీటి మట్టం నిలకడ గ ఉండటం తో గేటు ను మూసివేసారు. ప్రస్తుతం నిజాం సాగర్ నీటి మట్టం 1405.5 అడుగుల తో 17.8 టి ఎం సి లు ఉంది .

Please find below instructions how to apply and who are eligible for this Scholarship:

Instructions:

1. The Scholorship will be awarded only to the students, who are below the poverty line and who studied in Government/ Muncipal/ zill parishad/ Private aided and TTD High Schools. The students who secured 500 and more marks in the SSC examination, March 2010.

2. The scholarship is not applicable to the students, who studied in A.P. Residential schools, A.P. Tribal Welfare Hostels, A.P Residential Schools,A.P.Gurukula Vidyalayas,Schools attached to Social welfare Hostels,Corporate Schools,private unaided Schools, and those who passed SSC examinations without schools study.

3.The Total number of scholarships to be sanctioned per academic year is limited to 1000 (one thousend) only with a progressive total of scholarships from 2008-2009 starting with intermediate to post-graduation level, as detailed below.

a.If the recipient of the above scholarship secures 85% of marks of above in Intermediate,the scholership will extended to the student to the degree class as well.

b. If the recipient of the above Scholorship secures 70% of the marks or above in Science Subjects and 60% of marks or above in Arts Subjects in Degree Course and Professional Courses, the scholership will be extended to the student, for post-graduate courses as well.

4. The Merit list of students aspiring for scholarships will be prepared in a descending order based on the order of merit (i.e.)600-599-598-597 and so on. 100 eligible candidates will be selected from among the prepared list, for the award of scholarship.

South Central Railway announced special trains services to Kollam (Sabarimala Via Nizamabad) to clear extra rush of Ayyappa pilgrims of Andhra Pradesh cities and towns during the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple pilgrimage season.

History Of Nizamabad

Indur is embodiment of Indian History; it has half of India in its spelling rest of the half in its history. Its history dates back to Paleolithic Stone Age.When the implements, utensils, other materials used by the men of Paleolithic stone near their tombs, were found at ‘Pochampad’ of indur, it was confirmed by the archaeologist that indur had its human life ever since it was the early stage of Stone Age. Adding to this, the reference of indur was even found in the scriptures of Jain, Budh and Hindu religious.During 6th century B.C., a Surya Vamsha king named ‘Ashmaka’ established his Kingdome named ‘Ashmaka’ and built a city named ‘Poudana’ as the epic Mahabharath’s Karna Parvam the Kingdome Ashmaka was captured by the king Karna. The king Karna was assisted by the people of Nagula tribe in the battle. The history says that the residents of Ashmaka were none other than the people of Nagula tribe and also that the present inhabitants of Nizamabad i.e., Indur are the great grand children of Nagula Tribe people.The Southern part of India was authoritatively ruled by the Nandas.

The Nandas won over the Ashmaka Kingdome and Indur was under their ruling. Later Chandra, Gupta, Mourya destroyed the Nanda Kingdome with the help and guidance of Koutilya; subsequently the “Indur was under the Maouryan rule. After the regime of the Emperor Ashoka, the stavahana’s established their territory in South India. That was, indur was rule of “Satavahanas, Ikshwakas, Vishna Kundinas, Badami Chalukyas successively. In the year 1324, the Indur come into the hands of the sultans of Delhi.The History of Indur states one fact that the resident of Indur were very brave and courageous, they fought bravely with Allauddin Khilji in the year 1303 AD and saved their land from the attack of the Muslim king. In the year 1309 Allauddin Khilji sent a heavy battalion of soldier’s under the leadership of Male kaafarto seized Bodhan fort. But he couldn’t succeed of the fortitude and courage shown by the people of Bodhan. But in the year 1323 AD UI-ug Khan attacked on Bodhan and Kotagiri and succeeded in capturing them. He appointed Narsat Khan as the ‘GOVERNOR’ of the territory. Finally in the year 1324 AD Indur came into the ruling of Mohammdi Kings.Again in 1347 AD the Bhamani king included Indur in the Kingdome.

The fate of Indur was in a confused state up to 1500 AD, as the Bhamani Kings and kings of Vijayanagara used to frequently fight watch other Indur was under rule of these two Kingdome by turns. With the disintegration of Bahamani Kingdom Indur become the integral part of Golkonda Kingdome.The Qutch Shahi Kings built big forts at places like Bodhan, Kotagiri Kowlas Nala etc., and during this period many Marathas and Kannadigas come over here and settled down in indur.Because of the Deccan policy adopted by Aurang-Zeb, the Golkonda Kingdome came into the Hands of Moghul Kingdome that’s how indur came in to the power of Moguls between 1689 AD up to 1724 AD. Then afterwards, it was the Asaf-Jhai’s, who ruled Indur it was in the year 1857 the first Muting of Sipoy, Rohilal the follower of Nana Saheb led the Movement of freedom and fought bravely at Kowlas. After the Police attack Indur was included in the union. As the Indur was under the Nizam rule it was named Nizamabad and the Nizamabad district was formed in the 1956 AD and was included in the state of Andhra Pradesh

DOMAKONDA FORT

Domakonda was a samsthan under the qutub jahis and asif jahis. The fort is believed to be built by the reddy rulers during 18^th Century at a site where a fort existed earlier. The entrance to the fort reflects asif Jahi, influence.

The place is built with Western architecture. The tainted paintings in the windows and the wooden architecture are very attractive. The lotus pond.

DICHPALLY RAMALAYM

Ramalayam, Dichpally is one of the finest examples of the work in stone, which is attracting a lot of people. Built in 14^th century by Kakatiya Rulers this is an incomplete temple due to unknown reasons. Structure of animals, goddess, devils and erotic nature can be seen here which is filled with water during the period of rains. A Mandap is also visible here at the middle of the tank.

BADA PAHAD

This is one of the important pilgrim center in Nizamabad for the minority people. The Durgah is built after the saint Syed Sadulla Hussain and in every September an URUS is also celebrating here. During this three days festival thousands of pilgrims are visiting this place.

The Durga is located at the top of the hillock and present way is nearly a Kilometer long ghat.

The District derives its name from the NIZAM of Hyderabad. Nizamabad
District is bounded by Nandhed District of Maharashtra State on the west and Adilabad
